Enkalon Foundation awards are open to community groups and organisations across Northern Ireland. Historically the range of applicants has ranged from youth groups, senior citizens clubs, charities, self help groups, animal welfare, arts and mental health groups.
Who we help
Amount Available Annually: £200,000 (approx) - to projects in Northern Ireland.
Size of Grants: Up to £6,000 maximum.
Average grant size between £500 and £1,000.
Range of Interests: Cross Community Groups, Self-Help, Assistance to the Unemployed and Groups Helping the Disadvantaged

Special Notes: Priorities of the Fund may vary from year to year.
Normally grants are not made to playgroups, PTA’s or sporting groups outside the former Antrim Borough area or to individuals or for medical research or for travel outside Northern Ireland.
Trustees meet quarterly (March, June, September and December) and closing dates for applications will be 1 month before the meeting. Please contact administrator for exact dates.
